Hotel Matsunoi (the "Hotel") establishes this Privacy Policy (the "Policy") regarding the handling of users' personal information in the services provided on this website (the "Service").

• If the purpose of use is changed, the Hotel will notify users of the new purpose or announce it on this website by the method prescribed by the Hotel.

• Except in the following cases, the Hotel will not provide personal information to third parties without the user's prior consent, except as permitted by the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other laws.
• When necessary to protect a person's life, body, or property and it is difficult to obtain the individual's consent
• When particularly necessary to improve public health or promote the sound development of children and it is difficult to obtain the individual's consent

Article 6 (Disclosure of Personal Information)

• When an individual requests disclosure of their personal information, the Hotel will disclose it without delay. However, disclosure may be withheld in whole or in part if it falls under any of the following, in which case the individual will be notified without delay. A fee of 1,000 yen per request applies to disclosure of personal information.
• When disclosure may harm the life, body, property, or other rights and interests of the individual or a third party
• When disclosure may significantly impede the proper conduct of the Hotel's business
• When disclosure would violate other laws or regulations
• Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, information other than personal information, such as history and characteristic information, will not be disclosed in principle.

Article 7 (Correction and Deletion of Personal Information)

• If a user's personal information held by the Hotel is incorrect, the user may request correction, addition, or deletion ("Correction, etc.") through the procedures prescribed by the Hotel.
• If the Hotel receives such a request and determines it is necessary to respond, the Hotel will carry out the Correction, etc. without delay.
• The Hotel will notify the user without delay when Correction, etc. has been made or when a decision not to make it has been reached.

Article 8 (Suspension of Use of Personal Information)

• If an individual requests suspension of use or deletion of their personal information ("Suspension, etc.") on the grounds that it is being handled beyond the scope of the purpose of use or was obtained by improper means, the Hotel will conduct the necessary investigation without delay.
• If, based on the investigation results, the Hotel determines it is necessary to respond to the request, it will carry out the Suspension, etc. without delay.
• The Hotel will notify the user without delay when Suspension, etc. has been carried out or when a decision not to carry it out has been reached.
• Notwithstanding the preceding two paragraphs, if Suspension, etc. requires significant expense or is otherwise difficult, and alternative measures can be taken to protect the user's rights and interests, such alternative measures will be taken.

Article 9 (Changes to This Privacy Policy)

• The contents of this Policy may be changed without notice to users, except for matters otherwise provided by law or this Policy.
• Unless otherwise specified by the Hotel, the revised Privacy Policy takes effect when posted on this website.
